These terms cover your use of SinStats. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use SinStats.
Who can use SinStats
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you where you live, including laws about alcohol, drugs and other substances.
What SinStats is, and is not
SinStats is an entertainment app for recording things you already chose to do and comparing them with friends. Everything in it is self-reported and unverified.
- It is not medical, health or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to consume anything.
- Levels, streaks and leaderboards are a game. They are not a reason to drink, use or do more than you otherwise would, to put yourself or anyone else at risk, or to break the law.
- If you are worried about your own use or someone else's, please talk to a doctor or a local support service. In the United States, SAMHSA's National Helpline is free and confidential at 1-800-662-4357. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Give accurate information when you sign up, and tell us at support@sinstats.app if you think someone else has got into your account.
Your content
You own what you log and post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you have chosen, which is what running the app requires. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. Only post things you have the right to post.
Rules
Do not use SinStats to:
- post anything involving minors and alcohol, drugs or sexual content, in any form;
- post sexually explicit, violent or hateful images or text;
- harass, threaten, shame or impersonate anyone, or post about people without their consent;
- sell, advertise or arrange the supply of drugs, alcohol or anything illegal;
- encourage self-harm, dangerous drinking or drug use, or pressure others into it;
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- spam, scrape, overload or try to break into the service, or get round a block.
You can report a post or a person from inside the app. We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these rules or put others at risk.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who can see it. Remember that anything you share with other people can be copied by them.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Edit Profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may change or stop offering SinStats.
No warranty
SinStats is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that your data will never be lost. Export anything you want to keep.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SinStats and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for anything you or another user does, consumes or posts. You use the app at your own risk and are responsible for your own choices. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email. Carrying on using SinStats after that means you accept the new terms.
